Antique Canvas Sack Diamond Crystal Salt St Clair Michigan Linen
This is not a bag, it is a square piece of linen. I am not sure what it would have been used for, it may have been the fabric they sewed into a bag? Either way it is a really great piece of advertisement. In good antique condition, has stains and ware. I did not attempt to launder this item, it is in as found condition.
The last photo is a photo from Wikipedia and it states that this logo was trade marked in 1905:
"Diamond Crystal Salt was registered on Tuesday, September 19, 1905 and is currently owned by Diamond Crystal Salt Company under the registration number 46383 ."
This linen can be dated anywhere from 1886-1920s. They changed their logo in the late 20s.
I do not have measurements but I can provide them upon request.
